Tasting notes:

Colour: Mahogany with a shiny luminosity.

Nose: Refined and subtle in the opening, leading into delicate hints of elegant rancio, chocolate hazelnuts, orange blossom, honey, nutmeg, black pepper. Very rich and complex with a refined elegance.

Palate: Clean and very precise, a pleasing mouth feel, abundant natural sweetness and good depth. Well balanced, the elegant rancio combined with notes of beeswax and leather dominate. The finish is powerful in alcohol, leaving a pleasantly clen palate.

Overall: A superb example of a Borderies aged in a wet cellar for more than 30 years.
