Tasting notes:

Colour: Shiny gold with shades of bronze.

Nose: Light, fruity, delicate and subtle. Very complex aromas of mint, toffee, fresh hazelnuts and cocoa powder.

Palate: Smooth and light with a nice sweetness followed by a rise of the structure typical of the Grande Champagne.

A long finish with notes of fresh barrels and cut hay. Nice and clean palate.

The 1976 vintage is rare, this particular cognac has been stored in a barrel in a damp cellar, explaining the natural low alcohol content. A beautiful cognac to savor.
