Northern Mead Bloemenhoning

A traditional mead has only honey as flavouring.
This mead has a sweet honey flavour with a full floral aroma that emphasises the honey character because this honey is unfiltered and processed purely from the comb.
After fermentation, the mead has aged briefly in oak for extra depth.

De Noordelijk Mederij

Established in 2019 and based in the Westerkwartier region of Groningen, De Noordelijke Mederij is the first full-time meadery in the Low Countries since the Middle Ages. The company produces artisanal meads made from real honey and has won multiple international awards since its inception, including the title of Best Mead in the World in 2020.

Under the brand name Northern Mead, the meadery offers a wide range of traditional and innovative meads, such as fruit-infused melomels and herb-flavored metheglins.
