10th Anniversary Wijn- en Whiskyspecialist Van der Boog

Wine and Whisky Specialist Van der Boog - our store in Rijswijk, The Netherlands - opened its doors on June 14th, 2012. This coming year we will celebrate this with you by launching various own bottlings on the market. All high-quality delights and very limited availability. We started in January with the launch of a beautiful specialty beer - HappyFace Tripel Barrel Aged - matured in a whisky barrel that previously had a 1976 Glenburgie matured on.

You can expect a lot more in the coming months, such as whisky, cognac and rum, but now it's the turn of this mead. We have applied the pure honey with our own bee colonies and Serious Bee Distillers from Schiedam has made a delicious mead from it according to their own recipe. The result is impressive!

Suitable as an original aperitif, but also as a perfect accompaniment to a nice cheese platter.
