In order to get the most out of it, this whisky has not been cold filtered and reveals a beautiful natural amber color. The barrels used mature the whiskey on its lees, which is an integral part of the aromatic profile of this bottling.

• Nose: for this edition, Chichibu has selected the best red wine barrels, which is reflected in a promising and complex nose, harmoniously blending honey, precious wood and a variety of fruits such as medlar, wild berries and citrus.
• Mouth: the experience begins with opulent notes of red fruits, led by blueberry, enhanced by the freshness of citrus fruits and medlar. Nuances of mint and licorice bring persistent freshness, evolving towards more vegetal and woody notes, with an accent of refined cedar. The profile is completed by bitter touches of cocoa, balanced by the sweetness of fine caramel.
• Finish: the finish is prolonged, marked by a pleasant bitterness with notes of clove and orangette, while retaining a lingering sweetness reminiscent of milk chocolate.
