Cane Island is a Dutch rum brand owned by Amsterdam based Infinity Spirits, created with the aim of showcasing the remarkable differences between rum producing countries. The brand does not operate its own distillery, but selects rum from a wide range of origins, allowing the character of the country, distillery and production method to remain clearly recognisable.

The portfolio includes both Single Island Blends and Single Estate Rums. Single Island Blends combine rums from one country or island, sometimes sourced from several distilleries. Single Estate bottlings, by contrast, come from one specific distillery. Origin, age and distillation method are presented as clearly as possible.

Cane Island works with rum from countries including Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad, Panama, Nicaragua and Australia. An important principle is that the rum matures tropically in its country of origin before being brought to the Netherlands for further processing and bottling. Cane Island therefore offers an accessible way to explore and compare the remarkable diversity of international rum.
