Don Papa Baroko

Don Papa Baroko is a refined rum from the island of Negros, Philippines, a region known for its high-quality sugarcane production. Founded in 2012, the distillery builds on the rich Filipino rum traditions and bears the name of Papa Isio, a historical figure and leader during the Philippine revolution.

A specific feature of Don Papa Baroko is the use of locally grown sugar cane, which is among the sweetest in the world. After distillation, the rum is aged in charred American oak barrels, which contributes to its deep, complex flavours. For the Baroko variant, the rum is then further enriched with local sugarcane liqueur, which adds depth and sweetness.

Don Papa Baroko is known for its rich and full flavour profile, with pronounced notes of vanilla, honey, candied fruit and subtle oak nuances.
