Santo Grau Paraty has been made in the same way for five generations. The sugarcane is crushed using the power of a water-wheel, as it has been done since its drops were first bottled.

Fermentation occurs naturally and slowly, until the ideal point is reached. It is distilled in flame-heated copper alembics. The result in matchless: an aromatic cachaça that has an intense taste with features that are typical of this coastal area.

It was elected the third best white cachaça in Brazil, according to the Veja Magazine Ranking (Brazilian Edition – February 2010).
