Distilled from molasses, this Nicaragua is a new arrival in the Transcontinental Rum Line. Born in the CLDN distillery this rum rested more than 10 years in bourbon casks before being sent to Europe to finish its maturation in oak tanks. The result is a pretty astonishing 12 years old rum.
