Whiskies bottled from the new 'Private Collection' have been personally selected by members of the Urquhart family that has owned Gordon & MacPhail for four generations. Each is a unique and exquisite chapter in Scotland's history of whisky.

Tasting Notes by Gordon & MacPhail:

Colour: Dark gold.

Aroma: wonderfully rich. Aromas of juicy black cherries and intense orange peel transform into velvety milk chocolate. Sweet toffee comes to the fore alongside mature oak with fragrant lavender.

Taste: creamy with hints of white pepper and sherried stewed fruits, sweet baked aplle flavours with autumnal spice - cinnamon and aniseed with a slight menthol edge.

Finish: delicate cinnamon and baked apple notes linger on the finish.
