Duncan Taylor Inverleven 34 years 1978 is a very limited edition from the now closed Inverleven distillery.
Inverleven was a single malt distillery located within the walls of the Dumbarton grain distillery.
Dumbarton was built in 1936 by Hiram Walker to produce mainly grain whisky for Ballantine's.
In 1991, the Inverleven distillery closed and the Dumbarton complex closed its doors for the last time in 2002.
A whisky from this distillery is very rare and there are only 3 distillery bottles known. Also a bottling bottled by an independent bottler is quite rare.
Inverleven Single Malt Whisky of this age is unique and this will be one of the very last bottles to hit the market.
Due to its rarity, this is a great addition for whisky collectors.
Its value is likely to increase in the future, but the enthusiast who opens this bottle will be rewarded with a great glass of whisky
