Borderies

The Borderies is the smallest of the six Cru's. The soil consists mainly of clay and flint. Nearly 4,000 acres of vineyards northeast of the town of Cognac produce soft and perfumed cognac. Cognac from this region is generally drinkable younger than the Cognac from Grande or Petite Champagne.
