Tasting note

Nose

Fresh and delicate when just poured, but with a little time it develops into a deeper complex whisky with a distinct lemon and citrus character to balance the sweet PX notes. Full maturation has contributed to the complexity and added warm aromas of dark chocolate, liquorice and dried fruit, but always balanced with the citrusy notes of fresh lemons and limes.

Taste

Luxurious and rich, wonderfully balanced. The sweetness of the PX is balanced by citrus aromas combined with a rich, warm quality of dried fruit likely from the barrels, and in the background the distinctive spiciness and a pleasant bitter note that adds complexity.

Finish

Long and lush with an elegant and pleasant sweetness.
