Full bodied and spicy

If the cask is clearly present and gives the whisky a nice full and spicy character, it belongs in the full and spicy category. Usually matured in sherry casks and sometimes a very light smoky note. Foreign barrel types such as madeira or port, for example, also often appear in this category.
