Wijn- en Whiskyspecialist van der Boog is an independent Dutch specialist drinks retailer based in Rijswijk and forms one family business together with the Passie voor Whisky and Passion for Whisky online stores. From its physical shop, a passion for whisky developed into a broad selection of distinctive spirits, wine and beer, with particular attention to smaller producers, independent bottlers and products that are not widely available.

Alongside established brands, Van der Boog also selects distinctive casks and small parcels of its own. Working with distilleries, producers and independent bottlers, exclusive whisky, rum, Cognac and other spirits are released for the Dutch market. Local products and special bottlings are also presented under various in house labels.

Personal advice and direct contact with enthusiasts remain an important part of the shop. Tastings are held in its dedicated whisky vault in Rijswijk, while long standing relationships with producers and bottlers provide a continuous search for interesting new releases. Van der Boog therefore combines the tradition of a Dutch specialist liquor store with the world of distinctive and carefully selected spirits.
