Glenugie Distillery lies by the River Ugie, near the fishing port of Peterhead, the distillery has had an exceptionally complicated history and has been owned by a multitude of proprietors over the years.

Much investments and refurnishment was carried out in the 1950's. The distillery was mouthballed in the 1980's and stocks are now finitive.
