Springbank 15 Years from the 1980s is a true classic and a prime example of the unique Campbeltown whisky style. This vintage bottling has stood the test of time and is now considered a rare gem among whisky enthusiasts. Tasting Notes

Nose

A beautifully balanced and complex nose with plenty of tropical fruits, such as coconut and guava. Refined hints of mild pipe tobacco (Virginia), vanilla, and burnt sugar complement the profile. Subtle wood notes add extra depth.

Taste

Rich and creamy with extraordinary complexity. Licorice and dried orange peel blend seamlessly with fresh vanilla tones and crystallized kumquat. The whisky continuously evolves on the palate, revealing new nuances with each sip.

Finish

Long and refined, with a harmonious mix of fresh peppery notes and delicate orange accents. The complexity continues to unfold long after the last sip, making this a whisky to remember.

Springbank distillery

Springbank Distillery is located in Campbeltown, a historic whisky region on Scotland's Kintyre Peninsula. Founded in 1828 by the Mitchell family, it is one of the oldest independent distilleries in Scotland and one of the few remaining distilleries in Campbeltown, once known as the "whisky capital of the world."

Springbank Distillery is unique in its complete control over the production process, with all steps - from malting to bottling - taking place on one site. The distillery produces three different single malt whiskies: Springbank, Hazelburn and Longrow.

Springbank whisky is lightly peated and partially triple-distilled, creating a complex and rich flavour profile with notes of fruit, saltiness and a subtle smokiness. Hazelburn is unpeated and triple-distilled, making it a smooth, delicate whisky with light, sweet and malty notes. Longrow is heavily peated and double-distilled, resulting in a robust and smoky whisky with rich, earthy flavours.
