Blair Athol 13 years 2011 - 2025 #1 Cask Strength Collection
Blair Athol, nestled at the edge of the Scottish Highlands, is well known for its rich and spicy character. This 13-year-old single malt, distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2025 as cask #1 for Signatory Vintage, was fully matured in a first fill Ruby Port hogshead. The port cask imparts deep fruity richness and a velvety mouthfeel, with a beautiful interplay of sweetness, spice and strength. Bottled at a robust 57.7% ABV, this whisky remains vibrant and bold throughout.

Nose
Rich and luscious with aromas of ripe cherries, blackberries and blackcurrants. Deeper layers of red wine, dark chocolate and a hint of rose petals. A touch of spice and oak adds depth.
Palate
Full and indulgent with flavours of plum jam, raspberries and port wine reduction. Balanced by cinnamon, clove, milk chocolate and toasted wood. Creamy texture with a hint of pepper on the tongue.
Finish
Long and warming with lingering fruity sweetness, soft tannins and an elegant dry note of cocoa and spiced oak.
Blair Athol Distillery
Blair Athol Distillery is located in the picturesque town of Pitlochry, in the Scottish Highlands, on the banks of the Allt Dour Burn. Founded in 1798 by John Stewart and Robert Robertson, Blair Athol is one of the oldest working distilleries in Scotland. The distillery is best known as a key component in the famous Bell's blended whisky.
A specific feature of Blair Athol is the use of water from the Allt Dour Burn, which contributes to the whiskies' rich and full flavour profile. Blair Athol whiskies are known for their robust and fruity character, with notes of dried fruits, nuts, and a subtle hint of spices and honey.
