Glen Garioch 9 years 2014 - 2024

This 9-year-old Glen Garioch was also released in Claxton's Exploration Series 9. Matured on a tawny port barrique, so not only does it have an elegant hint of smoke, the port has added a delicious sweetness to this whisky.

Nose

Rich plums, caramel and sultanas. The scent of Danish pastries.

Taste

Particularly full-bodied. caramel, chocolate and peanuts. Finally a Snickers in whisky form.

Finish

Sweet and warming. Long-lasting aftertaste of sultanas.

Glen Garioch Distillery
