After 19 years of maturation, it offers a stunning harmony of fruity freshness, floral notes and creamy depth – a masterclass in subtle complexity.

About Glenmorangie Distillery

Founded in 1843 in Tain, in the Scottish Highlands, Glenmorangie is celebrated for producing some of the smoothest and most elegant single malts in the world. The distillery’s exceptionally tall copper pot stills – the highest in Scotland – allow only the lightest vapours to condense, creating a spirit of remarkable delicacy and purity.

The 19 Years Finest Reserve embodies Glenmorangie’s core philosophy: patience, precision and respect for the wood. By maturing exclusively in ex-bourbon casks, the whisky develops layers of vanilla sweetness and citrus brightness, resulting in a perfectly balanced, sophisticated single malt that exemplifies Highland elegance.

Glenmorangie Distillery

Glenmorangie Distillery stands near Tain on the Dornoch Firth in the northern Highlands. William Matheson founded it in 1843 within a former brewery and installed second-hand stills originally used for gin. Their exceptional height permanently shaped the distillery’s production system. In 1918, Glenmorangie passed to Macdonald & Muir, which guided the business through difficult periods of war, Prohibition and economic crisis. Moët Hennessy acquired Glenmorangie in 2004, making it part of LVMH.

Glenmorangie is distinguished by Scotland’s tallest copper stills, whose necks rise to 5.14 metres. Their height and substantial reflux ensure that mainly the lightest alcohol vapours reach the condenser. The distillery also became highly influential in cask maturation. From the 1980s, it was an important pioneer of additional maturation in wine, sherry and port casks. The Lighthouse opened on the site in 2021 as a self-contained experimental distillery, allowing trials involving barley, yeast, mashing and adjustable stills without interrupting regular Glenmorangie production.
