Tasting Notes

Nose

Funky and slightly off-beat, sitting on the sour and copper coin spectrum reminiscent of Ben Nevis. Notes of rhubarb and farmyard aromas are complemented by creamy vanilla, apple and pear. Distinct hints of rye bread, a touch of aniseed and grassy bitterness.

Taste

Fruity and lively, with tropical flavours of mango and grapefruit. Sweet and inviting, yet slightly spicy with hints of menthol tobacco and tarragon. A subtle cardboard note recalls Littlemill and the fruity late 1980s Irish malts.

Finish

Long and layered with old oak, a touch of dryness, fruity notes and a herbal twist.
