GlenAllachie 9 years Amontillado Sherry Cask Finish

This 9-year-old whisky has matured in hogshead Amontillado sherry casks. Amontillado sherry is a refined Spanish wine from the region of Andalusia, known for its amber hue and complex flavour profile.

Amontillado is made from the palomino grape and undergoes a unique ageing process that results in a dry, nutty flavour with a subtle hint of saltiness.

Maturing whisky in these casks has given it a unique flavour profile, with notes of dark berries, roasted hazelnuts and treacle-like caramel.

GlenAllachie Distillery

GlenAllachie Distillery is located in the heart of the Speyside region, near the town of Aberlour in Moray.
