GlenAllachie 10 Years Port Wood Finish is a vibrant and richly flavoured Speyside single malt, finished in carefully selected Ruby Port pipes. Tasting Notes

Nose

Intense aromas of red berries, raspberries and plum jam, layered with honey, toffee and a hint of oak and clove.

Palate

Soft and full-bodied with flavours of stewed fruit, dark chocolate, raisins and cherries. The port influence brings a wine-like sweetness balanced by an undercurrent of cinnamon and nutmeg.

Finish

Medium to long, fruity and velvety with warming spice, dried fruits and a touch of sweet oak.

GlenAllachie Distillery

GlenAllachie Distillery is located in the heart of the Speyside region, near the town of Aberlour in Moray. Founded in 1967 by Mackinlay, McPherson & Co, the distillery has a rich history and a reputation for producing high-quality whiskies. After several ownership transfers, GlenAllachie was acquired by whisky icon Billy Walker in 2017, leading to a revival of the distillery.

A unique feature of GlenAllachie is its focus on artisanal production methods and the use of a wide range of casks for maturation. The distillery uses water from nearby Ben Rinnes, which contributes to the purity and character of their whiskies.
