Tasting Notes

Nose

An intense burst of raisins, dark chocolate, red berries, and espresso. Hints of cinnamon, leather, and a whisper of wood smoke follow.

Palate

Rich and multi-layered. Sweet notes of dates and raisins are balanced by nutmeg, clove, and oak spice. A gentle touch of red wine and dark chocolate completes the experience.

Finish

GlenAllachie Distillery

GlenAllachie Distillery is located in the heart of the Speyside region, near the town of Aberlour in Moray. Founded in 1967 by Mackinlay, McPherson & Co, the distillery has a rich history and a reputation for producing high-quality whiskies. After several ownership transfers, GlenAllachie was acquired by whisky icon Billy Walker in 2017, leading to a revival of the distillery.

A unique feature of GlenAllachie is its focus on artisanal production methods and the use of a wide range of casks for maturation.
