Glenrothes Distillery

Glenrothes Distillery is located in the heart of the Speyside region, in the small town of Rothes. Founded in 1878 by James Stuart & Co, the distillery has a long and rich history of producing high-quality single malt whiskies. The distillery is picturesquely located on the banks of the Burn of Rothes, whose water is used in the production process.

A unique feature of Glenrothes is its focus on using ex-sherry casks for maturation, which ensures a deep and complex taste experience. Glenrothes whiskies are known for their rich and layered flavour profiles, with notes of dried fruit, orange, vanilla and subtle spices.
