The Whistler 5 years Bodega Cask

The Whistler 5 Year Old Bodega Cask Single Malt is a triple distilled whiskey that has been wholly matured in the finest Spanish Sherry Butts for its whole life. These butts were sourced from our partners in the famed Bodegas of Jerz de la Frontera.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Stewed dark fruits, l eather, chocolate and tobacco on the fore with citrus peel and caramel undertones.

Palate: Oily mouthfeel with leather, spices, dried figs and sultanas, coupled with bitter chocolate and dry citrus peel.

Finish: A long, lingering, dry mouthfeel with dried fruits and maltiness remaining.

Boann Distillery

Boann Distillery is located in the historic Boyne Valley in County Meath, Ireland, an area rich in cultural heritage and natural beauty. Established in 2015 by the Cooney family, Boann combines centuries-old Irish traditions with modern innovation to produce high-quality whiskeys.

A unique feature of Boann Distillery is their use of patented copper pot stills with unique undulating shapes, which ensure maximum contact time between the spirit and the copper, resulting in exceptionally pure and flavourful whiskey. The distillery uses locally grown barley and the pure water from the Boyne Valley, adding to the authenticity and quality of their products.
