Description: The Colheita it is a high quality Port issued from a single harvest, aged in oak casks for at least seven years.

During maturation in wood, the young, fresh and fruity aromas will turn in to an elegant and complex bouquet combined with a silky texture and a long lasting finish.

Tasting Notes:

Colour: Tawny with brownish shades.

Aroma: Woody flavors, with notes of dried fruits, and a slight touch of smoke.

Palate: Full and involving confirming the nose impressions. Very pleasant persistence.

Serving tips: Excellent digestive wine, it should be served at room temperature (18C/64F) or slightly chilled. Splendid with cheese, pastry, sweets, nuts, light pudding and cakes. Ready to drink when bottled.

93 pts Wine Spectator - A little heavy in color, vigorous style and longer evident brownish tones. Good dried fruit in the mouth, much walnut and hazelnuts, dried figs. Final very long, sweet but always with a stern tone.
