Description

Equipo Navazos – La Bota de Manzanilla “Navazos” No.113

La Bota de Manzanilla Nº113 is a fiercely pure, unfiltered Manzanilla from Sanlúcar de Barrameda. It is aged for many years under a thick layer of flor yeast in old solera casks located right next to the Atlantic Ocean. This unique coastal aging gives the wine its striking salinity and unmistakable maritime character.
Equipo Navazos bottles this wine en rama (minimally filtered), preserving its full aromatic intensity and texture. This is Manzanilla in its most raw, vibrant and authentic form.

Tasting Notes

Nose
Fresh and intensely saline, with aromas of sea breeze, green apple, chamomile, almonds, yeast and a touch of citrus.

Palate
Bone-dry and razor-sharp with flavors of almond, green olive, citrus peel and fresh bread dough. The salinity gives great depth and savory complexity.

Finish
Long, crisp and mineral with lingering ocean-like freshness and a subtle bitter note of almond skin.

About Equipo Navazos

Equipo Navazos is a cult Spanish bottler dedicated to rescuing and releasing extraordinary old sherry casks. Instead of owning vineyards, they source exceptional solera barrels from the finest bodegas in Sanlúcar, Jerez and El Puerto.

Each “La Bota” is a one-off bottling from a single cask or a very small selection of barrels. Nº113 comes from a very old Manzanilla solera in Sanlúcar, famous for its intensely saline and dry style. All wines are bottled without cold stabilization or heavy filtration — exactly as they come from the cask.
