La Bota de Amontillado by Equipo Navazos is a wine with two lives: it starts as a Fino under flor, then continues aging oxidatively once the flor disappears. This creates a rare combination of freshness and depth — crisp and saline at first, then nutty, spicy and complex.
Equipo Navazos selects these wines from very old soleras where the flor has naturally faded, allowing the wine to evolve into a profound and gastronomic Amontillado.

Tasting Notes

Nose
Elegant and complex with aromas of hazelnut, almond, orange peel, tobacco, chamomile and a hint of leather.

Palate
Dry and concentrated with flavors of roasted nuts, caramel, spice and a subtle saline freshness. Rich yet perfectly balanced.

Finish
Long and layered, with nutty, spicy and gently bitter notes that linger.
