Producer

Conte di Campiano is based in Puglia and focuses on wines that translate the warm southern Italian character into an accessible, modern style. By working with local grape varieties and careful vinification, the winery produces smooth, fruit-driven wines with a strong emphasis on drinkability.

Conte di Campiano

Conte di Campiano is an Italian wine range created by a family-owned producer from Veneto in northern Italy. Its name is connected to a local tale about a count who paused during his travels among the hills of the Val Tramigna. From an elevated position, he looked out across vineyards, houses and the surrounding countryside. The landscape and the scent of young wine made such an impression that he decided to remain there. From that moment onwards, local people are said to have known him as the Conte di Campiano.

The company behind the label was established in the late 1950s and developed from its home near Verona. Conte di Campiano brings wines from several Italian regions together under one recognisable name, while respecting the grape varieties, styles and traditions associated with each area. The collection reveals both the sunny south and the cooler north of Italy, combining a distinctive Italian identity with an approachable style of winemaking.
