Tasting Note

Nose

About Bodegas LAN

Founded in 1972, Bodegas LAN takes its name from the three provinces that make up Rioja: Logroño, Álava, and Navarra. The winery is known for its innovative approach to traditional Rioja, including the use of hybrid barrels combining American and French oak. For the Culmen Reserva, only the oldest vines from the Pago El Rincón vineyard in Rioja Alta are selected. Here, Tempranillo and a small amount of Graciano grow in stony, nutrient-poor soils. The wine is aged for 26 months in new French oak, followed by at least two years in bottle. Culmen – meaning ‘pinnacle’ – truly lives up to its name, expressing power, finesse, and craftsmanship in every glass.
