United States

American Whiskey is hard to categorize. It can be made from a variety of ingredients. Bourbon is produced from a minimum of 51% corn, Rye from a minimum of 51% rye, Corn from a minimum of 80% corn and Tennessee is made from a minimum of 51% corn, but only from the state of Tennessee. Nowadays, several distilleries also produce Single Malt from 100% malted barley. So there is really no country in the world where the diversity is as great as in the United States.
