The Deveron 12 years Limited Edition - Sherry Casks Finish

The Deveron is an approachable Highland single malt produced at the Macduff distillery, located where the River Deveron meets the sea. This limited edition 12-year-old expression received additional maturation in sherry casks, resulting in a richer, deeper whisky than the core range. It offers a beautifully balanced dram where soft Highland notes meet the warming sweetness of sherry influence.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Gentle aromas of red apples, raisins and honey cake. Subtle notes of nuts, mild spice and a hint of orange peel add warmth and complexity.

Palate

Smooth and rounded with flavours of stewed fruits, toffee and milk chocolate. The sherry finish brings depth with touches of cinnamon, dried figs and a hint of almond. Delicately spiced, with no bitterness.

Finish

Medium in length with lingering sweetness from fruit and caramel, finishing on a soft note of oak and nutmeg.
