Fins Bois

Most of this area is covered in clay and limestone. Locally this is called 'groies' and this is very similar to the soil of the Petite and Grande Champagne only the color is much redder. In the lower area, the soil consists mainly of clay (60%). The more than 30,000 hectares provide round and soft Cognac that can be drunk relatively young.
