Ben Nevis distillery is a whisky distillery in the beautiful town of Fort William, located in the west of Scotland. At the foot of the highest mountain in the British Isles, 1345 metres high, stands the distillery with the same name as this mountain, Ben Nevis. The distillery was founded in 1825, so whisky has been distilled here for almost 200 years. 

This Ben Nevis was distilled in 2014 and bottled by Signatory Vintage in July 2023 after being aged for over 8 years in 2nd Fill Oloroso Butts.

This gives this Ben Nevis the following flavour palet:

Aroma: Fruity and relatively sweet with ripe wild berries, dried fruit, sherry, apples and candied nectarines.

Flavour: Full and balanced with blackberries and black cherries, raspberry jam and fig syrup. Caramel cream and oak spices in the background.

Finish: Medium-long and fruity.
