Appearance: Gold.

Body: Smooth, light to medium body.

Nose: A big, crisp, dry and very aromatic nose with hints of heather and peat.

Palate: Smooth, soft and lasting flavours of heather-honey sweetness and vanilla followed by deeper citrus-fruit flavours and hints of malted bread.

Finish: Long, lingering, surprisingly intense finish that starts sweetly, then gives way to smoke, peat and malt.

Dalwhinnie Distillery

Dalwhinnie Distillery is located in the Scottish Highlands, in the eponymous village of Dalwhinnie, known as one of the highest and coldest inhabited places in Scotland. Established in 1897, the distillery benefits from the clear mountain air and pure water from the Lochan-Doire-Uaine spring.

A unique feature of Dalwhinnie is the use of this pure spring water, which contributes to the whisky's light and delicate character.
