Talisker 25 years

Since 2021, Talisker 25 years has not been bottled at cask strength, but at the ultimate drinking strength of 45.8%. This is Skye whisky as Skye whisky should taste. Salty and roasty, but with a very nice layering.

Tasting note

Nose

Mild maritime is perhaps the best description of what we smell in our glass. Light nuttiness and soft fruitiness. Dried apricot, toasted pineapple.
 

Taste

Salty, ripe tangerine, peat smoke and fresh fish. A lovely campfire on the beach. The nutty character also comes into full play on the palate.
 

Finish

Medium-long with a nice peppery finish that gives a full edge to this top whisky.
