Master Distiller Robert Fleming hand-selected Oloroso sherry butts from an old bodega in Andalucia to expertly finish specially selected Tomintoul Single Malt.

Tomintoul Seiridh is a beautifully complex single malt, which is heavily influenced by rich Christmas cake and spice flavours
from the Oloroso sherry butts.

Tasting Notes: 

Nose: Rich and inviting with aromas of sultana, butterscotch and candied pecans.

Palate: Sweet and luscious with layers of dried figs and Christmas cake highlighted with touches of cedar spice.

Finish: Warm, nutty and long with notes of chocolate
covered raisins, dried fruits and hints of liquorice that fade into a woody linger.

Tomintoul Distillery

Tomintoul Distillery is located in the heart of the Speyside region, near the village of Tomintoul, known as the highest village in the Highlands of Scotland. Established in 1964, Tomintoul is a relatively young distillery that has quickly gained a reputation for producing smooth and elegant whiskies.

A unique feature of Tomintoul is the use of pure spring water from nearby Ballantruan Spring, which contributes to the purity and delicate character of their whiskies. Tomintoul whiskies are known for their smooth and refined flavour profiles, with notes of vanilla, honey, citrus and a subtle hint of spice.

Tomintoul produces both single malts and whiskies used in blended whiskies. The whiskies are mainly matured in ex-bourbon casks, which ensures a balanced and harmonious flavour.
