Bottled at cask strength, this Bally is, from start to finish, impressively rich, deep and complex. This version begins by revealing a particularly expressive aromatic palette that is never short of things to say. The notes of prune and precious wood emanating from the glass are an invitation to begin the tasting immediately lest any essentials be left out. And what a palette of flavours it delivers - evoking with rare authenticity a rural, blazing and exultant autumn!

Profile: the rich initial nose reveals notes of orange zest, cane sugar, heather honey and rose poivrée. Allowed to breathe, it becomes increasingly empyreumatic. The lively attack takes on autumnal garbs (chestnut, date, walnut, dead leaf). The mid-palate reveals bouquet notes, wax and spice. The very expressive finish leaves us to admire fields of sugar cane and breathe in deliciously heady fragrances.
