As Joren himself says: "ALS is the abbreviation for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, a condition that is currently the subject of several studies. One of our whisky friends, Alain Verspecht, has been affected by the disease and has set up a fund to raise money to help research this as yet incurable condition. I would therefore like to dedicate this release to Alain and I expect many people would like to purchase this bottle as a show of support."

As in many spirits, there is such a thing as a superb vintage. It is fair to say that TDL 2009 belongs under this category. With a blissful aroma, taste and finish of ripe and sweet peaches, this rum will overwhelm you.
