A marriage of Single Cask Single Malts, only from the Campbeltown region, this Limited Edition bottling of “The Gauldrons” enjoyed a finishing period in Spanish Sherry Casks, imparting a deliciously dark and remarkably moreish character to this special release. Savour the classic Campbeltown smoky-sweetness balanced by a richly spiced Sherry cask heritage.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Remarkable sweet... toffee apples, mashmallows, caramelised sugar and candyfloss.
Palate: Crème brûlée, evolving to ginger, nutmeg and red apple with lingering smoked barley.
Finish: Sharp - tangy orange sweets, stewed red fruits with black pepper covered strawberries.
