Caperdonich Distillery was located in the town of Rothes. Built in 1897 it was originally known as Glen Grant number 2.

When the distillery was rebuilt in 1965 it was renamed Caperdonich meaning "The Secret Well".

The distillery is now silent.

Official tasting notes:

Nose: Sherry influences with a hint of almond.

Palate: Sweet with delicate fruity edge. A maltiness lingers.

Body: Light to medium.

Finish: Long and rounded.
