Jägermeister is a world-famous German herbal liqueur, made according to a secret recipe dating back to 1934. It contains 56 carefully selected herbs, flowers, roots and fruits, which combine to produce a rich and complex flavour. These ingredients are soaked in alcohol, then filtered and aged in oak barrels for a period of several months to harmonise the flavours. The brand is iconic not only because of its unique flavour, but also because of the bottle with the deer logo, which refers to the hunting legend of Saint Hubert.

Nose

The nose of Jägermeister opens with a lively mix of spices, including cinnamon, cloves and ginger, accompanied by notes of citrus and a hint of aniseed.

Taste

On the palate, the liqueur is sweet and bitter at the same time, with layers of caramel, orange and spices such as liquorice and star anise.
