Michele Dozan started a distillery in the north of Italy in the Trentino region in the early 19th century. Today, the fourth generation at Villa de Varda is already continuing what started so long ago, making delicious Grappa.

The fantastic world of stills not only creates delicious spirits but also allows friendships and bonds to be forged between families who share the same passion. Great esteem and respect for the work of others were born between the Dolzan family of the Villa de Varda distillery and the Vallet family of the Château Montifaud distillery, producers of Cognac from grapes grown in the famous Grande and Petite Champagne regions of France. After traditional maturation, this Reserve Grappa received a finish in barrels previously used for the year-long maturation of the prestigious Château Montifaud Cognac.
