Meyendel Distillers draws its inspiration from the heart of the Dutch dune landscape: Meijendel, the vast nature reserve between Wassenaar and Scheveningen where sand, sea and wind shape a unique environment. Their spirits reflect that setting, using pure dune water and botanicals growing in salty sea air among hawthorn, sea buckthorn and coastal herbs. This Blackberry Liqueur is a great example: juicy dark fruit, softly sweet and very easy to drink at 20%, made to enjoy neat or to give cocktails and desserts a deep blackberry twist.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Rich, dark fruit with ripe blackberries and a lightly jammy note, yet with enough freshness to keep it bright. A subtle spicy edge and a small floral accent add depth.

Palate

Rounded and juicy with clear blackberry flavour, followed by gentle, comforting sweetness. A small tart lift keeps it lively, with a light tannic grip you also find in fresh blackberries.

Finish

Medium length and fruity with lingering blackberry, a fresh lift and a soft sweet close.
