Johnnie Walker 12 years Black Label

The Johnnie Walker Black Label is an iconic blended Scotch whisky that has been perfected for more than two centuries. The brand's origins date back to the early 19th century, when John Walker had his own grocery shop in Scotland and began blending whiskies to create a consistent flavour. In 1909, the Black Label was officially introduced and the brand has gained world fame ever since. Maturing for a minimum of 12 years in both European and American oak casks, Black Label combines tradition with craftsmanship to create an exceptional whisky.

Its versatility makes it not only a sublime choice for the pure drinking experience but also as a sophisticated addition to various cocktails.

Tasting note

Nose

The Johnnie Walker Black Label opens with a rich and complex aroma, an interplay of smoky notes, vanilla, toffee and a hint of orange peel.

Taste

On the palette, a harmonious balance of sweetness and smoke unfolds. The distinctive smokiness is perfectly interwoven with accents of caramelised fruit, nuts and subtle spices such as cinnamon and pepper.

Finish

The finish is warm and long, echoing the flavour where the smoke slowly wears off, leaving room for a pleasant, slightly dry sweetness and a hint of woody spice.
