Compass Box Transistor

Compass Box is known for its creative and transparent approach to blended whisky, and with Transistor they once again show that blends are far from boring. Originally developed in collaboration with the renowned Scottish brewery BrewDog, this whisky was designed to pair beautifully with hop-forward beers. Transistor blends malts from Glen Elgin, Teaninich and Linkwood, alongside a delicate portion of grain whisky. The result is a vibrant, fresh and approachable dram with a modern twist — perfect for curious newcomers and seasoned whisky fans alike.

Tasting Note

Nose

Fruity and floral with aromas of green apple, pear and elderflower. A touch of lemon peel, vanilla and soft grain notes adds a summery, light-hearted charm.

Palate

Fresh and playful with flavours of juicy peach, white grapes and creamy vanilla. Hints of honey, a dash of mint and subtle spice follow.

Finish

Medium in length with a clean, gently sweet finish. Fresh fruit, soft spice and a refined hint of citrus linger — inviting and refreshing.
