At Glengoyne, time has stood still. Here, they are in no hurry and distilling is slower than at any other distillery in Scotland. 

The Glengoyne way they call it, "Unhurried since 1833".

• The grain is dried exclusively by air.
• The stills are the slowest in Scotland
• Preparation of the casks takes 6 years.

Tasting Notes:

Sweet on the nose, with aromas of toffee and popcorn. Slightly nutty, with fresh green apples. On the palate, the sweet green apples return along with soft oak and a hint of liquorice. Add a drop of water and the nutty aromas take over. 

Maturation takes place on a combination of hand-selected sherry casks. Partly made from American oak and partly from Spanish oak.
