Tasting notes

Nose

The subtitle indicates 'Chocolate & Fruit' and so those are the first scents that reach our nose. The fruit more in the form of candied oranges wrapped in one of those chocolate layers. Bonbon filling is also mentioned and soft caramel.

Taste

The bonbon is also reflected in the flavour. Sultry, mildly sweet and nicely spicy. The slightly higher alcohol content gives the flavour a nice boost. Ripe fruit notes here too.

Finish

Mild and spicy with the chocolate sultryness lasting wonderfully long.

Selection

The finish takes place in PX & Oloroso Sherry casks from Jerez, Spain.
