What a whisky this turned out to be! An otherworldly combination of traits, with leather armchair, old books, and smoked Old Fashioned mixing with meaty mushrooms, juniper, venison jus, Saint Nectaire cheese, and eucalyptus. Integrated peat on this one that almost takes a secondary role to the umami-forward and savoury tones throughout.
